What we do
BizToolDesk publishes free online calculators, downloadable business templates, and independent software guides. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. We never see the numbers you type, and nothing is stored on our servers.
How we keep calculators accurate
Each calculator is built from published formulas and official rate tables (for example, IRS Publication 15-T for federal withholding and state revenue department schedules for state tax). Every formula has automated tests that compare results against worked examples from those sources. Tax tables are versioned by year and reviewed when new rates are released. If you find a discrepancy, please tell us and we will correct it.
How the site is funded
The site is supported by display advertising and, in some software guides, affiliate links. If you sign up for a product through one of those links we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Advertisers and partners have no influence over which tools we build, how they calculate, or how we rank products.
